Scope & Content A unidentified woman's diary for 1875. The first portion of the diary relates primarily to domestic affairs, family visits, quilting, and baking. In early April the entries turn to detials of opening day and the life of a cirucs on the road. An unknown library staff-possibly Robert L. Parkinson-surmised that the dirary was from someone who was with the John Robinson Circus becuse the diary notes practicing in late March and opening on April 5 in Cincinatti, Ohio

The diary also contains a hand written route list for the Curtis Hippodrome in 1877, Adam Forepaugh in 1883 and Barnum and London Shows in 1882.
